Asia Grand –
One of the best Cantonese cuisine and dim sum in Singapore

The Asia Grand is one of the finest Chinese restaurants in Singapore and it has been around for more than 7 years. This popular restaurant is located in the downtown area; along the ground floor of the Odeon Towers Building.
Mr. Jacky Ma, the General Manager of the restaurant, said that the restaurant can accommodate more than 300 diners with about 40 sets. The setting is suitable for functions such as corporate dinners or wedding dinner celebrations. Interestingly, all the 12 private dining rooms are named after the 12 star constellations providing the guests an opportunity to reserve a room based on their own star constellation.
Asia Grand’s menu features authentic Cantonese cuisine and dim sum. The chefs are all from Hong Kong and naturally they are culinary experts in preparing authentic Cantonese cuisine and dim sum. The signature dishes are the roasted pork, roasted suckling pork, the steamed fish and many mouth-watering delicious dishes. The Cantonese dim sum served here is also expertly prepared and every single item is as delicious as the other. They are so deliciously prepared that even the most discerning customer would eventually fall in love with them; such as the most popular fruit powder, taro and shrimp dumplings. The Beijing roast duck is another popular favourite dish for the local guests. Mr. Ma said that the locals are dislike greasy food substances and perhaps that is why the fat Beijing duck is not famous because it is too greasy. However, the roast duck at the Asia Grand is not too greasy and hence it is most suitable for local people.

In order to retain the old and new guests, the restaurant always uses fresh ingredients, introduce various lunch promotions and add new innovative dishes to the menu once every 2 to 3 months.
Traditionally the Cantonese restaurants are famous in serving Chinese tea to their regular guests. Mr Ma pointed out that as more and more Chinese professionals and immigrants are settling down in Singapore, there is a growing demand for the China baijiu and this trend is growing. Currently, the guests to Asian Grand can order China baijiu such as the world famous Moutai baijiu, Shui Jian Fang baijiu, Guojiao 1573 and even Wen Jun Baijiu which Asian Grand has the intention to introduce the latter to its guests.
