Singapore Moutai Baijiu Pte Ltd marked the close of year 2012 with a special surprise by offering to its members 6 pairs of free ticket to see the popular singer Tanya Chua at her concert called " Just Say So " The hugely successful concert was held on 7 December 2012 at the Esplanade Concert Hall.
Singer & songwriter Tanya Chua, a Singaporean who has made a name for herself in the Asian Chinese music circuit, is mainly based in Taiwan where her recording company is. This "Just Say So" concert was highly anticipated by the local Singaporeans because her album - also named "Just Say So"- depicts a return to her roots.
Singapore Moutai Baijiu Pte Ltd collaborated with Chinese Baijiu Association (Singapore) in using the latter's network to announce the mechanics of the free concert tickets and also to announce the selected top six walk-in customers at the China Singapore Moutai Baijiu Specialty Store. The draw of the selected top six walk-in customers from the China Singapore Moutai Baijiu Specialty Store was done at the end of November at the Chinese Baijiu Association (Singapore) office.
One of the lucky winners Mr. Zou(from China Shipping), was very glad that he had won the concert tickets. He said that he was both surprised and excited about this program organized by the Singapore Moutai Baijiu Pte Ltd. He even added that Moutai baijiu is fast becoming a refreshing fun drink soon. Yes he would continue to choose Moutai as his preferred drink; as he has always done so!

CLUB DE BOSSES -MOUTAI VARIETY NIGHT
Club De Bosses-Moutai Variety Night
Club De Bosses, a newly established club in February 2013, is located at 195 Lavender Street, #02-08, Eminent Plaza. Able to accommodate up to 100 people, the club’s lounge holds a glassy stage, a bar and a pool-table. There are three VIP rooms with individual sound systems for customers who would like to host small parties with privacy and the largest can accommodate up to 30 people.
Liu Ying, the general manager of Club De Bosses mentioned that there will be events and performances meticulously planned every month, with different themes and lot of varieties. She proudly mentioned that they have a total of 18 beautiful performers, all specially selected to bring the best performances to the audiences.
Together with Singapore Moutai Baijiu Pte Ltd and Chinese Baijiu Association, Club De Bosses launched a successful event – “Moutai Variety Night” on 28 of June. This was the sixth “Moutai Variety Night” organized by the Singapore Moutai Baijiu Pte Ltd and Chinese Baijiu Association in conjunction with their partners since last year. On the “Moutai Variety Night” itself, not only were there fascinating performances and beautiful songs, there were also games and sweepstakes, with attractive gifts and prizes given away.
Liu Ying, the general manager of Club De Bosses said that they not only carry Maotai baijiu, but there are also other well-known baijiu like Wu Liang Ye, Jian Nan Chun, Du Kang, Wen Jun and Lu Zhou in the club.
CLUB JADE -MOUTAI VARIETY NIGHT

Singapore Moutai Baijiu Pte Ltd throw a spectacular party ‘China Ethical Groups – Moutai Variety Night’ at Club Jade on 29th, Nov 2012. This is the third event of the Moutai promotion series. The Moutai Night, featured in Chinese ethnical show, had been a wonderful night for every guest. The singers performed in a very professional way. They dressed in Zang, Dai and Mongolia costume and danced in respective style. One dancer even put a bowl on her head and spun round and round on the stage. The difficult moves aroused everyone’s interests and a round of enthusiastic applause. What’s more, the hilarious short act < Wusong VS Tiger> stole everyone’s eyes. A flamboyant drag queen tangling with the tiger hero became the highlight of the night. The guests from Singapore understood Baijiu culture more deeply through this event, and they surely would try the white spirit from China another time. We believed that Baijiu would be a regular liquor on the banquet in the coming future.
CLUB IMPERIAL -MOUTAI VARIETY NIGHT
Club Imperial-Moutai Variety Night
On 18 October 2012, Singapore Moutai Baijiu Pte Ltd organized the Kweichow Moutai Big Star Show at the Club Imperial located at Sultan Plaza at Sultan Road.
The participating artists were excellent in their dance and song performances which was not surprising as most of them had prior experiences taking part in variety programs held by China Central Television (CCTV) back in China. During the highly energized show, the audience was treated to well-choreographed performances such as modern and classical songs and dances. A gig called the "New Drunken Beauty" was also very well received for both its entertainment and educational values which had provided the audience the opportunity to learn more about the Chinese baijiu and the baijiu culture through its songs and dances.
For this event, the Singapore Moutai Baijiu Pte Ltd has incorporated the slogan -- " I am Chinese, I drink Kweichow Moutai." The audience, the crowd, the guests and even the performers were given an overwhelming introduction of Kweichow Moutai baijiu – it’s characteristics and the excellent taste of China national liquor.
The joyous atmosphere in Club Imperial made everyone, including the club’s owners, extremely happy. With the convenience of SMS, WeChat and WhatApps used by the hundreds of people in the audience, Club Imperial was probably the most talked about club in Singapore on that night.
The majestic taste of China Moutai baijiu has brought old and new friends together. To some of them, it was even the first time that they had tasted the national liquor brand of China. Chorus after chorus could be heard shouting " I am Chinese, I drink Kweichow Moutai."
CLUB DE ZARA -MOUTAI MID-AUTUMN CELEBRATIONS
Club de Zara-Moutai Variety Night
To celebrate this year's Autumn Festival, a dance & song variety show aptly named - the Kweichow Moutai Mid-Autumn Celebrations, was held at the Club De Zara on 27 September, located in Textile Centre at Jalan Sultan Road.
It was organized by the Singapore Moutai Baijiu Pte Ltd and in line with the company’s mission to develop the China baijiu culture in Singapore, many more of such Moutai variety shows will be organized at different night entertainment outlets, on a monthly basis.
The unique and innovative Kweichow Moutai Mid- Autumn Celebrations has created a distinct buzz in the entertainment industry. Hundreds of guests and visitors made prior reservations for the limited seats at the Club De Zara and even on the night itself, hundreds of guests had to watch the performances standing. The performers staged a marvellous well-choreographed variety show. There were excellent modern and classical dance & song gigs, games such as identifying the Moutai baijiu from several glasses of other baijiu and many other games with mysterious gifts.
The atmosphere in Club De Zara was so warm & special that even the performers claimed that it was the first time that they had such an experience in their years in Club De Zara. Some of the interviewed guests said that this event was great and welcomed more of such initiatives. For that particular evening, they felt that it had provided more choices to on how to spend the traditional Mid-Autumn celebrations. And a guest from China was so happy that he could drink Moutai baijiu to celebrate Mid-autumn while being out of China.
The slogan for the night was – “ I love Moutai, Moutai loves me “. The Singapore Moutai Baijiu Pte Ltd hope that with China national liquor brand Moutai leading the way, the China baijiu culture will soon become a part of the Singapore way of life.
ASIA PACIFIC BARTENDER OF THE YEAR COCKTAIL COMPETITION
Singapore Moutai Bajiu Pte Ltd and Oasis Global invited to The Asia Pacific Bartender of the Year Cocktail Competition, held by Association for Bartenders and Sommeliers (Singapore), This competition had two categories which includes the " Creative Cocktail " and the " Flairing Bartending Skills". The contestants were from Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, Korea , Bulgaria, Italy and 14 other countries.
Mr. Hsu Po-sheng from Taiwan appeared in a Spiderman costume and brought us a cocktail named " Golden Year " which was a blend of gin, vermouth and citrus. He won the " Flairing Bartending Skills" with his marvelous skill and creative idea. A female bartender from Japan won the top place of "Creative Cocktail".
